Atlanta Falcons linked to former New England Patriots’ wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, amid his controversial lawsuits
A few hours ago, Bleacher Report’s Timothy Rapp linked the former New England Patriots’ wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, to the Atlanta Falcons. In a recent report, Bleacher Report’s Timothy Rapp noted, “In Atlanta, the Falcons added Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus this offseason, but neither is a truly game-changing complement for Drake London. Diggs would give them another established option out wide.”But the Atlanta Falcons have not responded to the trade rumors involving Stefon Diggs yet. While the popular wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, has been a force to be reckoned with on the field, he continues to be involved in controversial lawsuits.Stefon Diggs’ assault lawsuit filed by his ex personal chef is scheduled for its next hearing on 4th May as his attorney, Mitchell Schuster, claimed his innocence.Stefon Diggs’ attorney said, “We are confident that after the facts and evidence are reviewed in this case he will be exonerated. It’s a shame that this had to happen today.”He added, “It’s frustrating for him to have to be here knowing what really happened. He’s a good person and we are looking forward to the prosecutors seeing all the facts and evidence that we have gathered.”Throughout the last season, Stefon Diggs’ name remained attached to various other lawsuits filed by his ex girlfriends as he continued to put up an impressive performance on the field. After an injury plagued season in 2024, Stefon Diggs finished last season with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.Stefon Diggs also became the first Patriots receiver to record at least 1,000 receiving yards in a single season since Julian Edelman in 2019.Despite his strong performance, the New England Patriots released him last month amid strong speculations that it was tied to the controversial lawsuits he is involved in.For now, Stefon Diggs has been focusing on training as all eyes remain on where he ends up next.
