The cape is a movement of Mumbai, which shaped Malhotra’s career and featured references to the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Gateway of India with local trains, and the yellow taxis. The entire ensemble took more than 960 hours of work, with 50 artisans from Mumbai and Delhi working on it.
