YouTuber Rosanna Pansino has shared a scary update with her fans after suffering a serious accident during her 41st birthday celebration. The content creator revealed that she fell while getting off a boat and ended up with major injuries. What started as a fun day with friends on the ocean quickly turned into a trip to the emergency room and later surgery.Pansino posted about the incident on Instagram on June 14, nearly a week after her birthday. She explained that the accident left her with several facial injuries, broken teeth, and a badly damaged jaw. In her Instagram post, Pansino said the accident happened as the boat was docking. She fell and badly injured her jaw.“After a beautiful day spent with friends out in the ocean, I unfortunately took a very bad fall as the boat was docking and broke my jaw into four pieces, including a complete fracture down the middle of my chin,” she wrote.The YouTuber said she spent the night in the emergency room. Doctors treated three different wounds on her face and closed them with stitches. Later, she underwent surgery to repair the damage to her jaw.According to Pansino, doctors placed a metal plate in her chin to help keep the broken bones stable. She also revealed that four metal screws were drilled into her gums. Bands attached to the screws are helping keep her jaw in place while it heals.The accident also damaged her teeth. Pansino said she “shattered” her front teeth and will need more dental treatment in the future.Even with the serious injuries, Pansino shared some positive news. She said her doctor recently told her that she may be able to talk again sooner than expected.“The good news is the doctor just updated me at the latest checkup so that I can talk sooner than expected,” she said.Pansino added that she still has at least eight weeks of recovery ahead of her. She thanked the medical workers who cared for her and also thanked everyone who sent flowers, visited her, and offered support during her recovery.She ended her update with a joke, writing, “Next year I’m celebrating at a spa.”While the accident led to a painful birthday and a long recovery, Pansino remains positive and is focusing on healing with the help of her doctors and loved ones.
