The Directorate of Government Examinations, or DGE, Tamil Nadu, has declared the Secondary School Leaving Certificate, or SSLC, supplementary result 2026 today, August 5. Students can now check and download their provisional marks memo through the official website, dge.tn.gov.in.To access the result, students need to click on the “RESULT” link and then select “SSLC Supplementary Exam, July-2026 Provisional Mark Sheet Download”. After that, candidates will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to download the provisional marksheet.

About the supplementary exam

The supplementary examinations were held from July 8 to 15, 2026, for students who couldn’t clear one or more subjects in the regular SSLC exams. A total of 66,488 students appeared for the July 2026 SSLC supplementary examination.

  2. Click on the “RESULT” link

How to apply for scanned copies of answer scripts

The board has also opened up the process for students who want scanned copies of their answer scripts. This can be done online through the “SSLC July-2026 Scan Copy Application” link, which is available under the SSLC Examination section of the website.Applications for scanned copies will be accepted on August 10 and 11, 2026, between 11 am and 5 pm, at centres specified by the Directorate. Students from Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli and Madurai will need to apply at their respective regional offices.The application fee for obtaining a scanned copy of the answer script has been fixed at Rs 275 per subject.
